Uptown Girls (2003)

You are all probably wondering why I keep reviewing Brittany Murphy (8 Mile, Spun) movies and that's because I'm doing a Brittany Murphy tribute video so I'm watching them for clips to use. Brittany stars as Molly Gunn, the daughter of a rock star who passed away when she was young and she unfortunately never grew up. The funny part is that she gets a job as a nanny taking care of Heather Locklear's daughter Ray (Dakota Fanning) who happens to act like an adult. The two clash on constant occasion, but soon grow to become best friends. Molly also deals with a lot of issues in her life with a up and coming rock star who dumps her, to her latest misfortunes of not having any money because of an accountant who took it all from her. This was actually a pretty good flick and it also stars Donald Faison (Clueless), Marley Shelton (Grindhouse), and Jesse Spencer (House M.D.) as Neal. I give it Three Stars Out Of Five because I think this is a total chick flick
