Darkness Falls (2003)

In horror, they've done it all by having killer leprechauns, killer clowns, a guy that kills on every Friday the 13Th, killer Santa Claus, a guy that kills on Halloween, but wait we haven't had a killer tooth fairy, have we? That is what this movie is about, a kid reads about a legend that was created to scare little kids to sleep by making a tooth fairy that comes to get you when you lose you last tooth. So one night, Kyle Walsh (Joshua Anderson plays young Kyle) wakes and runs into the light because he looked at the tooth fairy and now she wants to kill him. The only problem is that she kills his mom and everyone thinks he did it. So, Kyle goes away for a long time until he (Chaney Kley plays older Kyle) gets a call one day from an old childhood friend named Caitlin (Emma Caulfield) about her little brother (Lee Cormie) being in the hospital because he thinks he sees the Tooth Fairy and he does, but nobody will listen. Now, the tooth fairy is not only after her little brother but she sights her sights on Kyle and the whole town. The movie is okay and the story is okay. I remember waiting till this came out on video to see it. The movie also stars a young Emily Browning (Lemony Snicket's A Series Of Unfortunate Events) as the young version of Caitlin. Two Stars Out Of Five
