If you were to look this up, it says that it is a spoof of Disaster movies, but I believe after watching it that it's mostly a spoof of the movie Armageddon which had starred Ben Affleck and Bruce Willis. It only spoofs Twister and Volcano to name a few in the beginning of the movie. Basically, a giant spaceroid is about to hit Earth and kill everyone unless Harry Bottoms (Voiced by Jim Cummings) and his motley crew (No pun intended since Motley Crue has a part in the film) can save the earth. Harry Bottoms is the Bruce Willis character, while his crew aptly named V.D. Johnson (Steve Mackall) is Ben Affleck, Sandy Mellons (Jeanie Elias) is Liv Tyler (Sandy is also Harry's Daughter whose in love with V.D.), Hanukah Jones (Heather Capps)a ditsy rocket scientist, Donkey Dixon (Issac C. Singleton Jr.) who happens to moonlight as a porn star, Jean-Paul Bidet (Danny Mann) a Frenchman with too much gas, and Guy Kirk (also voiced by Jim Cummings) rounds out the crew. They face different challenges while trying to save the planet like a giant space monkey, a irritable gay robot, and Guy Kirk being beaten so badly he is mentally challenged. I enjoyed the movie a lot, but I wouldn't recommend for kids for lots of vulgarity and sexual suggestions in the film. Three stars out of Five
