It's great having nephews that are young enough because I get an excuse to rent these types of movies. I will say that this was an amazing movie and that I recommend this to anyone with children. The movie is about Flint Lockwood (Bill Hader) a nerd, that all he wanted was for everyone to love his inventions. His town was built on the idea of sardines, but things start to look grim when nobody in the world liked sardines anymore. To solve the crisis, Flint decides to build an invention that rains food. He meets a reporter along the way named Sam Sparks (Anna Faris) a former nerd who also loves Flints invention and she finds her niche as a weather reporter. The only problem is that the whole town loves it too and they start to over order everything and the machine goes out of control. Now it's up to Flint and Sam to save the day and stop the machine. This movie has a lot of hilarious scenes in it and it's very enjoyable to watch. I personally loved the character of Steve (Voiced by Doogie Howser himself Neil Patrick Harris), a monkey that has one of Flints inventions that allows you to hear his all of his thoughts. The movie also features James Caan (The Godfather) as Flints Dad, Mr. T (The A-team) as a policeman, Bruce Campbell (Evil Dead) as the Mayor, Al Roker as a reporter, and Andy Samberg (SNL Alum) as Baby Brent. I give this movie Four Stars Out Of Five
