Horseman (2009)

This is a spine tingling, suspenseful, thrill ride about murders being committed by a group claiming to be the four horsemen of the apocalypse. It stars Dennis Quaid (GI Joe: Rise Of The Cobra, Great Balls Of Fire) as Detective Breslin, who is widowed and gets this case thrown on his lap. The victims are being killed according to the story from the bible. A group of people committing the crimes claim to be the four horsemen. So, it is up to Det. Breslin to try and solve the case and figure them out. The movie can be graphic at times but it keeps you at the edge of your seat. I loved it and wished there were more movies like this. The movie also stars Clifton Collins Jr. (Star Trek, Capote) as Stingray, Eric Balfour (The Spirit, Hellride) as a victim named Taylor, Patrick Fugit (Almost Famous, Spun) as Corey, and Lou Taylor Pucci (Fanboys, Southland Tales) as The Detectives son Alex. The best performance to me came from Ziyi Zhang (TMNT, Hero) as a what seems innocent girl who turns into something more diabolical. Four Stars Out Of Five
