From The Vault: Child's Play (1988)

I have to tell you a little story because it has something to do with this movie. Back in the day, 1980's to be exact, I had a My Buddy & Me doll and after I watched this movie on TV in 1989, the damn thing looked just like Chucky. I was totally freaked out and couldn't look at it or be near it at all. The is the movie about a serial killer named charles who is on the run from the cops when is shot and is bleeding to death. He needs to figure a way to get out and he decides to see if a voodoo spell will work. So, he transfers his soul into a good guy doll and ends up in the hands of an innocent little boy. From then on it is total mayhem and nobody believes the little boy named Andy when he says that Chucky did it till it's almost too late. Brad Douriff (Child's Play series, Rob Zombies Halloween) plays the human Chucky in the beginning and voices the evil good guy doll for the rest of the movie. Alex Vincent plays Andy Barclay (The Little Boy), Catherine Hicks (TV series 7Th Heaven, Turbulence) plays Andy's mother and Chris Sarandon (Fright Night, Dog Day Afternoon) plays Detective Mike Norris in this suspenseful horror movie. So go out and rent this classic flick about a killer doll. Three And The Half Stars Out Of Five
