Street Fighter: The Legend Of Chun Li (2009)

I want to start off by saying that I enjoyed this movie a lot. I liked it better than the Street Fighter movie that starred Jean Claude Van Damme. This movie is a little different than that one. It follows how Chun Li becomes who she is and it's narrated by her in some parts of the movie to explain her transformation. The main character played by Kristin Kreuk (Eurotrip, Snow White) goes through life wondering what happened to her father until someone sets out to help her in her journey to get revenge against Bison (played by Neal McDonough). She eventually meets up with a man named gen, who is played by Robin Shou (Death Race, Mortal Kombat). Gen was a man that used to work for Bison and vows to help continue Chun Li's training. The movie is filled with great martial arts action and a great cast featuring Michael Clarke Duncan (Green Mile, Sin City) as the boxer Balrog, Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas as Vega, Chris Klein (American Pie, Rollerball) as Charlie Nash, and Moon Bloodgood (Terminator: Salvation, Pathfinder) as Det. Maya Sunee. The movie isn't the greatest one, but I'm a fan of martial arts movies and I enjoyed it. Three Stars Out Of Five
